Clarity helped Costa solve a unique challenge: how to integrate their Microsoft Dynamics ERP system to a new Linux-based B2C ecommerce website which could not run Dynamics’ Windows-based integration software. Clarity analyzed the situation and built a web services-based software on Windows which served as a gateway to allow the two-communication to occur. As a bonus to Costa, Clarity added custom business logic to the gateway that was easier and less expensive to put there than in the website or Dynamics.

Health Plan Database System

DirectNet is a boutique health plan administrator serving multiple companies in North Carolina. They were facing the difficulty in finding programmers to manage their Access database within which they did the administration of these companies. In conversations with Clarity, they decided to leave the older, hard to support software and move the database into the Cloud with a browser-based front-end. Clarity created a new web-based solution for them and assisted in the migration of the data and their users to the web from Access. This solution is HIPAA-compliant, and additionally prepared DirectNet for future growth in the number of companies they serve, but also in the number of types of services they can offer.

Industrial Timber
Industrial Timber, a leading fabricator of wooden furniture frames in the south-eastern United States, originally came to Clarity with a situation that is quite common. They were processing orders and scheduling their production facilities using an old Access database and were looking to modernize it to a web-based solution. Clarity created a new web-based intranet that totally replaced the old Access database, and therein eliminated in-building hosting, put them on an easier to use user interface, got them off of older, hard to support software, and is allowing them to easily tweak the software and add new features as needed.
